For Olivia Erlanger, the American Dream is a site of fantasy. Roseville is an oversized snow globe containing a model of an atypical suburban home. Much like Mike Kelley’s work, particularly Educational Complex (1995) and Mobile Homestead (2011), these places hold personal significance to the artist.
Olivia Erlanger was also involved in the artist-run Grand Century in New York where Veit Laurent Kurz has previously exhibited.
